Shape the future
Help shape the future of work with AI in San Francisco

We're building revolutionary, autonomous AI agents to perform complex tasks, end-to-end, and we're looking for exceptional, smart and intense people to join the team.
You would join a fast-paced team, working on a crazy vision, and dedicated to doing the best work of our lives.
We are SF-based, as we believe that the best work is done in person, and that there is no better place to build world-changing technology than the Bay Area.
Culture
How we work
While big tech companies navigate bureaucracy and committee approvals, we measure our shipping cadence in days, not months.
We make critical decisions in hours and turn ideas into production rapidly. When we spot opportunities, we capture them before larger competitors finish planning.
Join us if you thrive when your ideas move fast, bureaucracy doesn't exist, and your team pushes you instead of holding you back.
”It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney
We refuse to accept constraints. Most people give up too easily — often, before they even try. That means that by pushing harder, aiming higher, thinking bigger, you get to a place where there is much less competition — and you get to achieve incredible things.
Don’t join us if you’re looking for a 9-5.
We're building something extraordinary, and that requires extraordinary focus and commitment from our team.
When we're tackling breakthrough problems or shipping major releases, we lean in completely, and we don’t hang our hat at the door when we come home.
Building breakthrough technology is challenging work, and we believe the best teams support each other through both wins and setbacks.
You'll join a culture where it's safe to say "I don't know" or "I made a mistake" — because that's how real learning happens.
We assume best intentions and genuinely care about each other's success and well-being. When teammates face tough challenges, personal or professional, the team steps in. When someone needs help, we offer it proactively.
We believe rapid improvement comes from rapid feedback, given with genuine care for each other's growth.
You'll receive honest, immediate input on your work, because we're invested in your success.
Our feedback culture means you'll know exactly where you stand, what you're doing well, and where to improve.
No waiting months for performance reviews or wondering if you're on track. We give feedback quickly because we want everyone to excel, and we pair that directness with real investment in your development.
Offer
What we offer
We all embrace an ownership spirit - and think of this as our company, and our product. You will be given deep autonomy in your area of responsibility.
We think of work in sprints - periods of intense work, followed by intense recovery. We take rest seriously - and don’t track time off at Lindy. Take as much or as little as you need to be happy, healthy and productive.
We subsidize all US employees’ healthcare, and now offer a healthcare subsidy program for all international employees and contractors as well.
Competitive salary + generous equity.
If we had to boil down our culture to one word, it would be care. Read more in our Culture Doc.
We work 4 days a week in-office in SF (remote Wednesday) and provide up to $20,000 in relocation assistance for new hires. We also realize it takes time to move your life to a new place. During this transitional phase, some folks start remotely.
We get O-1 or J-1 visas, and we transfer H-1Bs visas.
Lindyfellows have a $300 / year budget to buy books / courses / education resources.
Interview Process
How we interview
Depending on how you came to us you may have an initial screen with our internal recruiter, an external recruiter, or a hiring manager.
A friendly ~20 minute conversation where you’ll share your background, ensure alignment on some basics, and answer any initial questions you have about our company and team.
You'll meet with the hiring manager for ~30 minutes to dive deeper into the role's responsibilities, discuss how your experience aligns with our needs, and explore how you'd contribute to our team's goals.
Connect with team members you'd work closely with for a collaborative discussion about your technical approach, problem-solving style, and how you'd tackle challenges relevant to this position.
We'll send you a realistic, role-specific project that showcases the type of work you'd be doing. This gives you a chance to demonstrate your skills on your own timeline. Depending on the role, if you’re asked to create original work or solve Lindy-specific problems, we believe in paying you for your time.
A final conversation with our CEO focused on your career aspirations, our company vision, and ensuring mutual alignment on where you want to grow and how we can support that journey.
We love our reference check step - getting the chance to talk to managers and colleagues to gain insights into your work, collaboration style, and impact. We deeply value understanding how you operate in real working environments.
Interview Process
How we interview Engineers
Our technical interviews start with a quick take home knowledge test, powered by a Lindy agent designed to assess your backend or frontend skills. It should take you no more than 20 minutes to complete. Don’t worry about preparing or practicing ahead of time, as it doesn’t ask any specific coding questions.
This is a ~20 minute open conversation with our Head of Engineering, with no technical components. We want to hear about your experience, your goals, and a bit about how you like to work. This is also where we share what our most exciting technical challenges are, what our upcoming roadmap looks like, and what it takes to succeed as an engineer at Lindy.
We have a 75-min frontend-focused technical interview. We never ask trick questions, or Leetcode-style gotchas. Instead, you’ll bring your own development environment, share your screen, and collaborate with a Lindy engineer on a fully working web app. We encourage you to bring the tools you’re most familiar with, including AI assistants. However, make sure any AI assistant doesn’t outshine you; we want to learn how you communicate, problem solve, and debug issues in real world scenarios, rather than deliver a one-shot solution to a problem.
After that is a 90-minute backend-focused technical interview. This is similar to the frontend interview, except you’ll build a backend REST server to an API spec we’ll provide.
Finally, we have a 60-minute systems design/whiteboarding interview. The interview is composed of two parts: the first half is a technical retrospective on a project you delivered, and the second half is a systems design whiteboard exercise, designed to understand your architecture and open problem solving skills.
