Monitoring your agents

In this guide, you will learn how to use triggers and actions to monitor and evaluate your agents.

Triggers:

Task Completed - Triggers when an agent has completed a task. Has filters for task title and task status.

Actions:

Get Tasks List - Returns the list of tasks for an agent

Get Task Details - Returns the full history of an agent's task run

Disable Agent - Disables an agent

Enable Agent - Enables an agent

Example: Meeting Assistant

In this example, we will build a Meeting Assistant agent to answer questions about your past meetings. This requires you to have a Meeting Notetaker agent.

Start with a Message Received trigger so you can chat with this agent about your past meetings. Add the Get Tasks List action. Select the agent you want to get the list of tasks for, in this case, your meeting notetaker.

Add a Condition step. Since you'll be discussing your meetings with this agent, one of two things can happen: it either successfully identifies the meetings you're referring to in your message, or it doesn't. Add these conditions to your agent.

If the agent has not found meetings that seem to contain the answer to the question the user just asked you, it should inform the user. Add a Send Message action to do that.

If the agent has found one or multiple meetings that seem to contain the answer to the question the user just asked you it should get the task details for each of those meetings. This requires the agent to Loop through each meeting and Get Task Details for each meeting. The agent should then pass the answer to the user’s question outside of the loop, so the agent can relay the information back to the user.

Last, we will need to enable the agent to answer your question and help you with any other questions or tasks. Add an AI agent step.

And you’re done. Save your agent, and test it out by asking it a question!
