Lindy Actions

Lindy Actions are first-party actions allowing Lindy to send emails, join meetings, save memories, and more.

‍Available Lindy Actions include:

Lindy Mail
Lindy Embed
Lindy Meeting

Lindy Mail

Lindy Mail is an email address dedicated to a given Lindy. It allows your Lindies to be triggered by new emails, or to send emails from the address.

You can customize the Lindy Mail address here:

Lindy can both receive and send emails from this address.

This is a great way to cc Lindy on emails to initiate a workflow or have her respond to emails without sending them from your email address.

Lindy Mail also lets you customize the Lindy Mail sender address and name (will default to the agent’s name if left empty) here:

Meeting Scheduler:

CC Lindy on emails that require scheduling. She’ll help find time and book the meeting on both the recipient’s and your calendar.

Self-Updating Email Responder:

BCC Lindy on email responses to append them to a Knowledge Base. This database can then be used for crafting future email drafts.

High Priority Email List:

BCC Lindy on high-priority emails to save the contact details. Lindy will also alert you via Slack when you receive new emails from these contacts.

Lindy Embed

Lindy Embed lets you create an external-facing chatbot in minutes.

You can publish Lindy on your website, or as a public link to share.

Lindy Meeting

Lindy Meeting allows Lindy to join your meetings, record the call, and take diarized transcription (meaning the transcript will show who said what).

After you add the Join Meeting action, you can have Lindy refer, extract and act on anything mentioned in the call.

The Lindy Meeting transcript can be summarized and saved into any available 3rd-party applications (like Google Docs, Hubspot, etc.) and shared via Lindy Chat, Slack, or your preferred messaging service.

Lindy System Actions

These actions let Lindy interact with the Lindy system itself.

Delete Current Thread
- Removes the current thread from your sidebar.
- Useful when no action is needed or a condition isn't met.
- Helps keep your thread list clean and focused.
  - Example: An event triggers your Lindy but fails a condition. Use this action to remove the automatically created thread that requires no further action.

Search Lindy Store
- Allows for Lindy to search the public Lindy Store for other Lindies
Add a Lindy
- Will be able to add a Lindy from the Store to your account

Set Thread Title
- Renames the given thread (visible from your sidebar)

Modify Lindy Memory
- Will give Lindy the ability to add, delete, or update memories (more on memories here)
Get Thread URL
- Retrieves a link to the current Lindy thread.
- This action provides you with the specific thread URL.
- Useful when Lindy alerts you about an issue with a customer. Lindy can send you the conversation link, allowing you to inspect the details thoroughly.
