What are Lindy Apps?
Web apps Lindy builds for you and your team, like a deal room, a spend tracker or a request form. Each app saves its data and has its own link. You’ll find them under Apps in Lindy.
How do I make one?
Ask Lindy in chat or in Slack. Say what the app is for, what it should track and who will use it. Start with the essentials, then ask for more fields, views or features whenever you like.
Can apps use my tools?
Yes. Tell Lindy which tool the app should read from or update, like Salesforce or QuickBooks. Each app needs its own permission to use a connected tool, so connecting a tool to Lindy doesn’t open it to every app. Apps can also create images, video and audio, use AI and search the web, with no API keys to set up.
Who can open an app?
You choose for each app: only you, your workspace, or anyone with the link (no Lindy account needed). The app’s creator and your workspace owners and admins manage it. Sharing an app doesn’t let everyone change it.
What happens when someone leaves?
Remove them from your Lindy workspace and they lose access to every app shared with your workspace, all at once.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Lindy keeps every version. Restore an earlier one or undo the last change from the Apps page. Restoring a version doesn’t touch the data the app has saved.
How do I talk to Lindy?

Is my data safe?
Lindy is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and PIPEDA compliant, with HIPAA and a signed BAA on Enterprise. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold, and never used to train models, and Lindy only acts within the permissions you give it.
